What I liked about the bag was that it is one of the first transition bags that don't have the look and feel of the typical tri bag but rather the functionality of a transition bag but the stylishness of a city backpack. In short - it is very functional AND looks good!!

Cheers, -Sabine

I like the way the bag has so many layers so that you can carry piles of gear with the bag still remaining compact. I used the bag last weekend and was able to store my wet gear in the wet compartment after the race therefore keeping the rest of my gear dry. The "parachute" is a unique and useful feature that gives me confidence in carrying all of my gear to a rainy race!

Take care, Desiree

The CapTexTri was coming up and I was not in great swim shape. I had recently broke my wrist mountain biking. I needed some help. That help was the Rocket Science wetsuit. I felt smooth and flowing in the water despite not being able to train much. But a big advantage it gave me was in transition. The ease in which I was able to peel the suit off with a hurting wrist was great!

Thanks,  Tim

Your backpack worked great for the race! It fit almost everything I needed for an IM distance race. Most other backpacks are only good for shorter races. Thanks.

The venue at CdA was beautiful. It's like a mini IM Canada. Loved it!

Regards,  Julie

Rocket Science backpack in desert? It doesn't make any sense.

The Rocket Science backpacks are designed for triathlons, not for riding 100 plus miles everyday on dirtbikes in Baja. Let alone on my back. Out of our group of 6 I tend to crash the most. But I really like the way they are designed. There is lots of compartments to keep your items separate and easily accessible. This would be the ultimate field test for this backpack (the last one 'a different and popular brand name' didn't make it past 3 crashes in the sand and fell apart on me).

For my dirtbiking trip to Baja I needed a backpack to carry clothes, food and tools for the bike. It has to withstand high speed crashes (my last crash was at around 50 mph in sand and rock), possible rain, silt (which gets into everything), and feel comfortable on my back since I will be wearing it from dawn to dusk. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with my new backpack. It was always easy to find what I was looking for. I didn't have to pull everything out of my pack just to reach the items in the bottom, and everything is visible. When you are in the middle of no where, hot, hungry, and tired, you really don't want to waste even a millisecond looking for your Mojo bar.

The pack stayed securely on my back, through the miles of sand whoops, where more than half the time your motorcycle is in the air and you can get a clearer airial view of the cactus trees. Luckily I only landed on one of them and realized I should stop sight seeing. By the end of the trip and after the 2nd celebratory beer my pack was still in perfect shape, just very dirty. the zippers moved easily. A lot easier than the ones on my pants. All the items were exactly where I had put them. And the inside of the pack had no dirt, not the same for some of the other packs on that trip. So whether you are packing for your Ironman trip, or backpacking in europe, the Rocket Science big pack is the bomb!!!

Thanks, Sean
