Get ready for a SPEEDY new swim event from the Rocket Science Sports team - the FAST & FURIOUS Swim Championships! Taking a page from our highly-rated ROCKSTARS Swim Championships, this new event will have everyone cheering on the sidelines on September 23rd, above the amazing pool facilities at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center.

For every serious swimmer, competitions aren’t the only name of the game – excellence in the sport can also score young athletes’ entry into top-level meets and be used on university applications for top performers - and all official meet results from the FAST & FURIOUS Swim Championships can count towards those essential applications.

EVENT: Fast & Furious Swim Championship

DATE: Sept 23, 2023

TIME: From 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

VENUE: Shanghai Oriental Sports Center

ADDRESS: Oriental Sports Center – Gate 6, P1 Parking Lot

701 Yaoti Lu, near Linpu Lu, Pudong Shanghai, China

AGE GROUPS: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15 & over. (15 & over will race together and will then be divided into age categories for scoring.)

ABILITY LEVEL: All levels.

RULES: FINA rules apply, with the exception of the age rule.

EVENTS: You may enter up to 4 individual events.

AWARDS: All swimmers in the 7 – 8 age group will receive a participation medal and commemorative swim cap.

All other age group swimmers will receive a commemorative swim cap. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals, additionally: ribbons will be rewarded to 4th - 8th place. High point trophy awards for each age group (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). Open events will count towards high points, providing the Q.T. is met. Only the top 16 swimmers per age category score points. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are awarded a team trophy.

Entry Fees: $70USD/swimmer;  $55/swimmer for SSL members (488rmb/swimmer; 388rmb/swimmer for SSL members).

• 09/01/2023 - Intent to Attend + Estimated Numbers Deadline.
• 09/08/2023 - The Team LOGO and Team PHOTO + Swimmer Registration Materials + the number of coaches.
• 09/15/2023- Event Entries Deadline – Swimcloud and HY-TEK entries close. Late entries will not be accepted.
• 09/18/2023 - Last Change Deadline. (NOTE: permitted changes only include the event and entry time.)
