Get ready for a high-energy, fast-paced meet that keeps the stands loud and the racing even louder. We welcome swimmers from across the world to this international event at the world-class pool facilities of the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center on April 25, 2026.

For serious swimmers, competition is more than medals. Strong performances and official meet results can support applications for higher-level meets and university programs. The ROCKSTARS Swim Championships delivers a professional race environment, meaningful competition, and results you can use.

DATE: April 25, 2026
TIME: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
VENUE: Shanghai Oriental Sports Center
ADDRESS: Oriental Sports Center – Gate 6, P1 Parking Lot
701 Yaoti Lu (near Linpu Lu), Pudong, Shanghai, China

AGE GROUPS: 7–8, 9–10, 11–12, 13–14, 15 & Over
(15 & Over will race together; scoring will be separated into age categories.)

ABILITY LEVEL: All levels welcome

RULES: World Aquatics (FINA) rules apply, except for the age rule.

EVENT LIMITS:

  • Ages 7–10: up to 4 individual events

  • Ages 11 & up: up to 4 individual events + 1 relay event

MAXIMUM CAPACITY: Registration closes when we reach 1,000 swimmers.


Awards

Ages 7–8: Participation medal + commemorative swim cap
All other age groups: Commemorative swim cap

Event awards:

  • Medals: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

  • Ribbons: 4th–8th

High Point Awards (per age group):

  • Trophies: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

  • Open events count toward high points when Q.T. is met

  • Only the top 16 swimmers per age category score points

Team Awards:

  • Team trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd

USD $100 / swimmer (up to 3 individual events + relay)
Additional individual event: USD $25

Participation in this swim meet involves inherent risks. By registering and/or attending, participants (and parents/guardians of minors) assume all risks and release the event organizers, venue, sponsors, and staff from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law. Event details may change due to safety, weather, or facility conditions. Photos/videos may be taken and used for event promotion.

Swim Meet Legal Disclaimer / Waiver 

IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE REGISTERING OR PARTICIPATING

By registering for and/or participating in this swim meet (“Event”), the participant (and the participant’s parent/legal guardian if the participant is under 18) acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1) Assumption of Risk

Swimming and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips and falls, collisions, overexertion, dehydration, illness, injury, paralysis, and death. Participants voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation in the Event, including risks arising from the actions or negligence of other participants, spectators, volunteers, or event staff.

2) Health and Fitness Confirmation

Participants confirm they are medically and physically able to participate in the Event. Participants are responsible for monitoring their own condition before, during, and after participation. If a participant experiences any symptoms or concerns (including dizziness, shortness of breath, pain, or distress), they should stop immediately and seek assistance.

3) Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the participant (and parent/legal guardian, if applicable) releases and holds harmless the Event organizers, hosts, venue owners/operators, sponsors, partners, affiliated entities, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, and agents (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in or attendance at the Event, including personal injury, illness, property loss, or death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

4) Indemnification

The participant (and parent/legal guardian, if applicable) agrees to indemnify and defend the Released Parties against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to the participant’s conduct, participation, or violation of Event rules.

5) Event Rules and Disqualification

Participants agree to follow all Event rules, safety instructions, venue policies, and directions from officials and staff. The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry, remove any participant, or disqualify any participant for unsafe behavior, misconduct, rule violations, or any condition that may jeopardize safety or disrupt the Event. No refunds are guaranteed in such cases unless required by law.

6) Photography / Video / Media Release

Participants and spectators may be photographed, filmed, or recorded. By attending or participating, the participant (and parent/legal guardian, if applicable) grants the organizers and their partners the right to use photographs, video, audio, or likeness for Event-related purposes, including marketing and promotional use, without compensation, in any media worldwide, unless prohibited by law.

7) Weather / Facility / Schedule Changes

The Event may be delayed, modified, relocated, or canceled due to weather, facility conditions, safety concerns, government directives, or circumstances outside the organizers’ control. The organizers are not responsible for expenses incurred due to schedule changes (including travel, lodging, or related costs).

8) Personal Property

Participants are responsible for their own property. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

9) Minors

If the participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the registration and accept this disclaimer on the minor’s behalf. The parent/legal guardian confirms they have the authority to do so and accepts all terms herein.

10) Severability

If any provision of this disclaimer is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
